Female sax players and female golfers. Does anyone know if Candy, Mindi, or Jessy J play golf???? LOL

I have nearly 17 years of experience in...well let's just say, if I told you, you probably wouldn't believe me anyway, and I would have to kill you!...LOL Actually, I put "bad" guys away for a living, but I certainly don't anticipate running across any of them here at jazzmatrix.com!

Seriously, though. Contemporary jazz music has been my passion for the better part of the last 20 years of my life. I really do buck the target listening demographic, because I liked this stuff when I was going to Senior proms in high school.

Recently, I decided to share my passion with the world by launching my own Internet radio station. I welcome everyone to check it out at http://www.wavjazz.net. While the station is only a hobby at this point, words cannot begin to express my excitement over what has happened over the last couple of weeks:

-I reached out to a number of big name recording artists, and some have agreed to do liners for the station, to include our very own Chris Standring (thanks again, Chris!).

-I also reached out to former long-time Jones Radio Networks radio personality Keith Riker, who was also kind enough to do some liners for the station.

With the help of big time artists like Chris, and a nationally-known and respected RP like Keith, my station now has a very professional and polished sound I have been looking for, and I will be forever be grateful for their acts of kindness. I have always taken great pride in my programming, and I can only hope the station will continue to thrive!!!

I look forward to getting to know and meet as many artists, folks in the industry, and fans out there who are as passionate about this music as I am!!!

Peace,

Chris
