From Chicago,IL I began singing publicly at the age of 16 with the Operation Breadbasket Choir, now know as P.U.S.H. Choir, "People United To Save Humanity. I was nervous during the audition with so many BIG voices, and it was just piano and my voice conducted at the time by Rev. Marvin Yancy(RIP)who placed me in the Second Soprano section, and said I'd do just fine! In later years I relocated to California (3yrs) and became a 1/3rd member of a female vocal group doing lead and background, focusing on harmonies, performing cover tunes. I'm Currently affiliated with BMI as a Writer and Publisher. Airplay credits are for my song "SATISFACTION GUARANTEED" music compo by Terry Morgan, lyrics by myself. (myspace site) I've sold approx 300ct CD's from the trunk of my car, my church bookstore, and a friend's local boutique. Only two tracks on the CD that I wrote included "THANK YOU" and "NOW IS THE TIME" which is also currently posted on myspace website. Needless to say, all proceeds went to my church affiliation. I've also performed with a worldbeat band for three years in Michigan and Canada, USA .
Once that tinure was complete, I started recording and performing R&B, Pop, Funk, and Jazz via Keyboard Player for a music agency. I'm a former member of a local band, and currently performing for fundraisers and private corporate gigs. Nonetheless, my efforts are to get into mainstream once my projects are complete and remixed. I'll remain optimistic that I shall see you at the top!
