Hi Dave, brother and friend,

It was really nice to hear from you. Thank you so much for the honor of sharing with me the quality time you had with your family earlier this month, and acknowledging the goodness of God to you and your family( yes, How Great is Our God!!!?). I really appreciate that.
I clicked on your new profile pic and it blew up into a large photo. I guess the two goodlookin' ones are Connie and Talisha!! The other cool dude in the 10 gallon hat could be Gene Autrey, Roy Rogers, Bill Boyd ( Hopalong Cassidy) or Randolph Scott. But then you're too young to remember those guys :-D. You look like you're a real happy and rugged and handsome outdoor cowboy :-D.

I want share my own joy with you. You're a proud grandfather, so you'll know how I feel. Yesterday my oldest son Tom sent me some amazing scans of of his
unborn 26 week 1 day old son!!!!, my grandson!!!!. Praise God for some aspects of man's improved technology; the details of this scan-photograph were so detailed and clear and goosebumpy wonderful. Every feature was so
clear. his hair, forehead, eyes, nose, lips, chin..wow, praise God. Six photos were full face on and he looked like a nice mix of mom and dad (Suzanne and Tom). But the seventh was part profile, and he was a ringer for Tom who at one time was a ringer for me. Yes, I am a real happy grandpappy!! Praise God, again and again!!
And my daughter Deidre is now in her 15th week of pregnancy. Dave would you remember them in your prayers?

I pray you continue to be in great health and that you will enjoy fresh and new blessings this weekend.

And please pray for a brother amd member of the matrix who's presently in hospital

Thank you for being my friend and brother in The Lord.

Love in Him,
Tom

Hi Dave, my dear brother and friend,

What a blessed man I am that you should share so many events in your life
with me!.... Love and family and Christian fellowship, all wonderful gifts from our dear Lord.

And I missed your birthday while I was away from the matrix...I am so sorry about that...I pray you had wonderfully enjoyable day.

Hey it's great that your daughter and son-in-law got to Dublin, Ireland!

That's my home town where I was born and educated and lived until I was 23
years old and then came 200 miles to where I am now, in northwest County
Donegal. There have been many changes in Dublin since then, it is quite the
international cosmopolitan city now. But the people are still beautiful.
Yes, I'm back from my trip and have been dropping into the matrix now and
again over the last 10 days, catching up.

The trip started off with a touch of sadness when a dear relative, my last
remaining aunt, died and I attended the funeral in Dublin. She was very kind to me and helped me financially during my high school and college years(we call them secondary school and university).
I then joined up with my family who had travelled ahead of me  in Trabolgan, near Whitegate, in south-east Cork, where we had the most amazing time. About 1000 Christians gathered there from all over Ireland. And yes it was a wonderfully Spirit-filled time. The team leading the worship were all Irish, 7 instrumentalists 3 of whom were also vocalists, plus 9 additional backing vocalists, heavenly harmonies leading all the gathering in spirit soaring heart throbbing goosebumping worship. And Dave, the preaching was awesome, a total of 8 speakers from Ireland, England, Scotland, USA all with the blending theme of the love of God, encouraging us to seek God's heart of tender heart of caring sacrificial sernant's love for all people, no exceptions, level ground around the Cross. As I've said to somebody else, I have had an amazing time, discovering afresh the joy of  serving the Source of true love, of caring for others, receiving love and giving  love to the point of being vulnerable and even hurt and still caring and loving nevertheless.

3 speakers were from Times Square Church...Carter and Theresa Conlon and Gary Wilkerson, the son of David (The Cross and The Switchblade). Gary was amazing, a great people person, so goodhumored, seemingly simple but with a depth to his preaching. I believe he is currently one of 2 pastors who are church planting in Colorado Springs.

On the way down and back, I had some time with my married daughter Deirdre in Athenry, County Galway in the midwest. She has one 4 year old daughter Aisling(Gaelic for vision) and is presently in the early months of another pregnancy...please remember her in your prayers. My son Tom near Dundalk in the north east and his wife Suzanne is also past midway pregnancy, expecting a son. Technology is amazing with scans and so on, but nothing compares with our Amazing Creator Loving Savior God.

Then just this Saturday my 24 year old son Padraic and his wife Donna came to our home to visit. Padraic is in full time ministry and is assistant pastor in a fellowship in Derry, Northern Ireland. He is also a gifted musician and worship leader, and on Sunday my own son and brother in The Lord led worship and preached to the little flock here in Falcarragh that God has entrusted to my care. Oh, He is so Good and Wonderful.. He further blessed a blessed morning with an additional 10 Christian visitors almost doubling our numbers!!

Dave I hope this long message is not tiring you out...it is so exciting for me to share these things with you!

I have visited the website of The Orchard CHurch that you love and attend and have started to listen to the message series on Proverbs, "The Wise and The Unwise"...I have only heard a portion so far but it sounds really good and promising! thanks for telling me about it!

So, my dear friend and brother, at last we come to the end of this long epistle....may God continue to abundantly bless you and your family that you so obviously love and cherish and who so obviously love and cherish you back......

your friend, and brother forever in Him,
Tom

Hi 'Lix, thanks for the last kind greeting you sent me. That was a beautiful phrase you used.."there's poetry in kindness"!

Well,
as I've just told your brother Mark(what a great guy!) I'm travelling
from here in the northwest of Ireland about 300 miles to the south (Trabolgan,
Cork) to a 7 day Christian conference. It will be awesome to meet about
1000 brothers and sisters from around Ireland, here some great
musicians and singers of praise and worship, and hear some
spirit-filled preaching from a team from Times Square Church Ney York.
Wish you could be there. I'll tell you abot it when I get back. In the
meantime, I pray you are well and happy and still a lover of all
things. Your friend and forever brother, Tom/ceolte
