October marked an awesome time in my life as we celebrated and kicked off my new CD "Eternal Traveler". The entire experience was just incredible as family, friends, and other musicians came out to The Mint to support my first solo album. It was more than I could've asked or imagined. My brother Jerome, who is also singing for the 2009 Inaugural ball, opened up the show with some great Motown classics. My Youngest sister surprised me and flew out to be at the show. My nephew Kevin who has been one of my greatest inspirations flew out to join me on stage and watch the performance. I was literally floored when he came in from back stage. I had no idea he was going to be there. We used to play guitar together as kids and haven't played with each other in 10 years. He knew one of my favorite songs from the album, "Right of Way" and him and I performed a guitar duet. It was great! I had such a great time with so many people that night. I thank everyone including, DFox for taking photos, Rev. G for the video, my brother Jerome for opening the act, and Kevin for the surprise guitar duet.
I will put up a few videos of the nights performance. Here is the first, "Right of Way", Dave Percell performing with Kevin Crocket.
