Beautiful-spirited, common sense people

I live in Kenosha, Wisconsin now but I'll probably be heading out West to Las Vegas to live in the near future. I've been studying the stock market more than music in recent years, but I'll start getting back into music more because of this site. I have a place to post my ideas and I think that's great. I started studying and building computers around 1992. I don't know all there is to know about computers, but I'm good enough to keep mine up and running most of the time. I studied at Westwood college online and I'll probably get my degree in Computer Network Engineering in the next couple of years or so. I graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha in 1984, just in case some of you are led to this site from those other social network sites that I post my thoughts on.

I started playing the guitar when I was 17 years old, since 1983. I started playing the keyboards around 1988 or so. I started out wanting to be a guitar hero like Jimi Hendrix, but I've grown to appreciate other styles of guitar playing. I've played Stratocaster-style guitars my whole life, but I'll pick up a couple of hollow-body, classical-electric and acoustic-electric guitars when I get the chance. I'll also buy a couple of basses also, because it's hard for me to make a synthesizer bass sound like a human bass player.

I like all kinds of music. I like 60s-70s R&B the best because they were great singers and songwriters and no one group or individual dominated the charts like they do today. I like the singers and songwriters of the 1970s, also. I'm talking about Cat Stevens, Carole King, James Taylor, Jim Croce, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers and Neil Diamond. They are master poets and great story tellers. I have an appreciation for Jazz and Classical music also, or else I wouldn't be a member of this web site.
