The JazzNet247 Project was set up as a Jazz Network in 1994 to help showcase the jazz genre and the musicians who carry on the legacy. In 1999 we started our first online Radio Shows in association with Sony Jazz UK.

Today the Radio Shows have four channels playing Smooth Jazz, Great Vocals and Brazilian Flavours.

The website has thousands of artists within our JazzNet247 Family Of Friends section and there are all sorts of subjects there to interest musicians and fans alike.

After more than 40 years in the entertainments industry it is a pleasure to try and help the genre that has given me personally so much enjoyment.

The next stage of the project is to showcase what we are doing on the social networking websites, open some live venues around this beautiful location in Austria, Germany and Switzerland and invite artists from our Family Of Friends to come and perform for us. We also have a holiday idea linked to it for a later date.

We specialise in showcasing the music of the independent artists and labels through the project and give them a helping hand.

I have been in the entertainments industry since I started playing the guitar from the age of 5, I listened to the Big Band and Bossa music my parents were playing in their professional Big Band at this time. I progressd through school and started playing in bands and DJing from an early age playing soul, funk and fusion jazz.

Our family also had a music shop which I worked in and then I progressed into the corporate world of marketing, training, IT and started my own marketing, multimedia and translations company (AGMAMI.com) back in 1995 in the UK.

I worked at two full time jobs for 12 years in 24 countries worldwide and last year ( 2009 ) fulfilled a personal dream to return to Central Europe to live in the mountains of Austria.

I am interested in music, sports, IT, languages, photography, hiking and my favourite hobby now is cross country skiing. View images of the area on our website at the GALLERY.
